- A cloud platform for managing inspections, created for companies that do non-destructive testing (NDT).

NDT Pilot is software for running inspection workflows. It is developed and operated in Canada, and it serves both inspection companies and the industrial owners of the assets they inspect.
Inspection work depends on small details being right before anyone heads to site. A technician might be dispatched without holding a valid certification for the method in question, or an instrument might turn up with calibration that had expired. Field reports vanished when the signal dropped or a browser closed, and some went in with readings, photos or declarations missing. Each piece of the job, from request and scope to report and invoice, was keyed in again and again across emails and spreadsheets. The platform exists to close those gaps.
Clients who hire inspectors want evidence: that the technician is qualified for the method, that the instrument was calibrated, and that the report is complete and signed off. Much of the work happens at industrial sites where coverage is patchy, so tools have to cope offline. Reputation travels through paperwork, which makes clear reports and a plain-spoken website equally important. Industrial and trades businesses in the valley can ask the same questions of their own records.
The problem
- Crews could be sent out without a current certification for the inspection method
- Instruments arrived on site past their calibration date
- Field reports vanished when the signal dropped or a browser closed
- Reports came in without all the readings, photos or declarations
- The same requests, scope, reports and invoices were typed again and again across email and spreadsheets
What we built
- Before anyone is dispatched, the system confirms which methods they are certified for, at what level, and when that certification expires
- Inspections can use only equipment that is in service and calibrated
- Offline-first field forms: entries are kept on the device and synced when coverage returns
- Each report section is validated before the report can be submitted
- Technical review that starts with exceptions, then signed approval and controlled release
- Customers get a portal to submit requests and see reports once they are approved, with invoicing linked in
The platform today
- Everything lives in one connected record, beginning with a customer’s request and ending with an approved report and its invoice
- A complete trail of reviews and approvals that can be audited

Challenges we see
in Government, agriculture & industrial
- 01
Growers and members still phone for forms, dates and updates.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITA member portal holding each person’s documents, training and notices, offered in more than one language where your members need it. - 02
Food safety and compliance records live in binders and spreadsheets.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITSecure portals that store documents, reminders and sign-offs, with a log of who changed what, ready for an audit. - 03
Harvest season leaves no time to market the business.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITContent produced ahead of the season and scheduled, so your site, social and buyer emails stay active while crews are in the field. - 04
Buyers can’t picture our operation or equipment from the website.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITPhotography and video on the farm, in the plant or on site, plus clear product and capability pages written for wholesale buyers.
What we used.
Office and field were out of step. A technician could be sent without the right certification, an instrument could arrive with lapsed calibration, and field reports were lost to weak signal or a closed browser. Reports also went in with readings, photos or declarations missing, and the same details were retyped from request to invoice.
Dispatch only goes ahead after a certification check on method, level and expiry, and equipment pickers show only in-service, calibrated instruments. Forms work offline and sync later. Each report section is validated before it can be submitted. Reviewers start with exceptions, approvals are signed and release is controlled. Customers log in to place requests and read approved reports, and invoicing is connected.
The platform has 12 connected workflow stages and 16 modules. It supports 10 NDT methods, from UT and RT to PAUT and TOFD. Each module is marked Available, Partially available or Planned, so you can see what is ready. The aim is one connected record, from first request through approved report to invoice.
It could suit businesses where certified people, calibrated gear and signed reports all have to line up. Which modules matter depends on your methods and clients, and building too much would waste money. We would start by walking through one job from request to invoice, and plan around the places where information gets lost today.
