- A new website, a marketing strategy and day-to-day management of all marketing.

The Aroma Bistro & Bar sits on Simon Ave in Abbotsford (number 32760) and serves Western cooking with Indian depth. It has a full bar and a late kitchen, and it hosts private events for as many as 250 guests.
A restaurant that hosts big private events has two audiences, and its website has to speak to both. The Aroma wanted diners to see the whole menu and book from the same page, and event hosts to find pages that sell weddings, birthdays and corporate parties. It also wanted food and venue content strong enough to make people reserve a table, and a single partner to take on all of the marketing.
Planning a wedding reception, a birthday or an office party is a different search from picking dinner tonight. Hosts compare capacity, group menus, photos of the room and how simple it is to inquire, and they want a page that matches the event they have in mind. Everyday diners look for the menu, the happy hour times and a quick way to book. A restaurant that serves both needs its website to speak to each group.

Challenges we see
in Restaurants & hospitality
- 01
Weekends are packed but Tuesday and Wednesday are empty.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITWe build a midweek offer people can act on, promote it to nearby neighbourhoods and on your socials, and track which nights actually fill. - 02
Our photos come from a phone and don’t show the food.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITA planned shoot of plates, drinks, staff and the room, cut into stills and short clips you can reuse for months. - 03
People land on a PDF menu that never loads on their phone.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITA fast mobile page with the menu as real text, current hours, a map link and one-tap booking or ordering. - 04
Banquet and catering enquiries go to the restaurant down the road.
WHAT WE DO ABOUT ITCatering and event pages with sample menus, room capacity and a short enquiry form, shared on Google and on social.
A website that lays out the whole menu and takes reservations, separate pages that sell private events, and food and venue content that makes people want a table. It also wanted one partner running all of its marketing.
A new website showing complete menus and happy hour details, with a way to book. Pages for every kind of private event, among them wedding receptions, birthdays and corporate events. Photos and video of dishes, drinks and the venue. And a marketing strategy, with every channel managed on an ongoing basis.
The site is live at thearomabistro.ca. Results are still being measured, so no figures are published yet. We will add them after a full reporting period and will not describe anything as a result before then.
Most of it carries over to any restaurant that takes bookings and hosts events: lay out the full menu, give each type of event a page, and photograph the food and the room well. What you get back depends on your location, your reviews and your response times. A free marketing audit would show where your site stands today.
